The Tour - Glen is a regular competitor at PGA events in Surrey and the South Region. He is also a member of the European Challenge Tour, making recent cuts in the Morson International Pro-Am Challenge and the Thomas Bjorn Open. Thanks to an invitation, Glen took the opportunity to play in his 1st European Tour event, the 2006 Russian Open.
Glen's commitment to his profession and his work ethic have enabled him to enjoy much success. This year, he is the Surrey Assistants' Champion and winner of the South Region PGA Match Play Championships.
Winter Golf - As you can imagine, not many tournaments at this time of year. Glen has been fortunate to be invited to play in the 'Guildford Alliance' which is a winter pro/am society which plays some of the top courses in Surrey. This gives him the opportunity to keep his competitive edge and also win a little prizemoney.
The Surrey Winter League kicks off again on 4th February at the wonderful Hankley Common Golf Club and Glen is looking forward to the tournament. He can be seen regularly utilising the practice facilities at Lingfield Park in preparation for the winter series.
The 2008 summer season will have Glen concentrating on the South Region Order of Merit. A finish in the top 3 will gain him entry into the end of season playoffs with places available in 4 European Tour Events including the 2009 BMW Championships at Wentworth.
